
For more than a decade, Sarah Sorensen has been working with network security companies, helping them identify and take advantage of intersections between trends and market opportunities. During her tenure at Juniper Networks, NetScreen and OneSecure, she worked on developing new product categories, such as IPS and DI, and educating customers on the evolving threat landscape. She developed communications, from white papers to videos, that translated complex technologies into easily understood solutions for key enterprise and service provider problems, trends and implementations.
Sarah has a strong background in brand, positioning, messaging, sales enablement, channel, social and Web marketing for both B2B and B2C companies. She also brings expertise in sustainability; she unified the implementation of sustainable business practices within Juniper’s operations and developed the company’s strategy; she has worked with organizations, as a consultant, benchmarking, facilitating focus groups, conducting gap analysis and making recommendations on sustainability programs and objectives. She was a founding member of Juniper's Green Taskforce, which is chartered to drive energy efficiency initiatives through the product portfolios. She is also the author of "The Sustainable Network," and blog, both published by O'Reilly.
